Introduction to our Frontier Healthcare Group
Our Group is represented by the parent company, Frontier Healthcare Holdings Pte Ltd and its related corporate entities.
Frontier Healthcare was formed in year 2002 through the merger of 3 general practice clinics. Currently, we are operating 9 general practice clinics. These clinics are staffed by a core team of Family Medicine vocationalists. We recognise that it is important for our doctors to be trained and certified in postgraduate family medicine to deliver high standards of care to our community. In addition, our clinic assistants are required to undergo continuing training to maintain the Group’s minimum standards in delivery of healthcare services. In this way, we strive to build a quality healthcare team.
Our doctors are actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate Family Medicine teaching, working closely with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in the National University of Singapore, the Division of Family Medicine in the National University Health System (NHUS) and the College of Family Physicians Singapore.
Since 2011, our Group has been involved as one of the key partners in the NUHS Family Medicine Residency Programme. This programme has been accreditated by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education – International (ACGME-I) and aims to equip the Family Medicine resident with educational and clinical experiences in accordance with ACGME-I standards, which focuses on structured training and close supervision.
We are also part of the Singapore Clinical Research Institute’s (SCRI) Family Medicine Research Network. Within this network, our doctors have the opportunity to collaborate with SCRI and other family physicians and conduct clinical research.
